Admit It Guys:You Are Intimidated By Women In Expensive Cars
In my opinion; yes. I do honestly think that many men are intimidated by successful and powerful women. Driving a luxury car doesn’t necessarily mean that you are successful because expensive cars can be easily leased. However, most people naturally assume that people who drive expensive cars are generally successful.
I have seen a drastic difference in the way I’m approached by guys depending on what vehicle I drive. A few years ago, when I was driving a beat-up, early 1990's model auto, men used to constantly check me out . Many men are intimidated and too petrified to talk to me now that I drive a luxury car. Especially if my car is nicer than theirs! (In most cases it is.) I find this insecurity rather mind boggling; as an independent woman I can more than provide for myself and then some. Used Lincoln Fenton offers great deals on cars, trucks and SUV's.
Take a car like the Infiniti G37 for example. Most men would be surprised and probably intimidated by a woman behind the wheel because the G37 sports quite a bit of power. The engine is six cylinder 3.7 Liter 330hp engine while the top of the line IPL model outputs an impressive 348 HP. Pricing for the G37 starts at around $32k.
I have also heard some guys remark that women don’t “look” right in performance oriented cars like the G37, BMW M3 and Mercedes AMG and that we most likely drive in the slow lane and don’t accelerate past 65 mph on the freeway. That is ridiculous nonsense! I have seen plenty of women “floor it” and hit very high speeds. Just because we are women doesn’t mean that we can’t appreciate and fully enjoy the engineering of a finely crafted car. What kind of nonsense is this? Anyone can appreciate the “performance” aspect of a car and push it to the hilt; not just men. Lincoln St Louis has great deals on cars and trucks.
Consider the Accord; a reliable and very functional car well known for being safe and affordable. Standard engine is a V4 with 190 hp. The Accord is well acclaimed for its legendary reliability and scored 9 out of 10 on reliability tests conducted by J.D Power and Associates. Pricing starts at around $21k. Most guys, in my opinion, would not be intimidated by a woman in an Accord because it’s considered affordable and practical. I suppose most guys assume women prefer to drive something that is “affordable” and “safe”. Dave Sinclair dealer St Louis Lincoln Dealer offers a large selection to choose from.
To me, that is just pure nonsense. It is ridiculous to be judged based on the auto you drive. It’s about what is right for US; about which vehicle meets our needs. Another thing that bothers me is that some people will assume that I must come from a rich family or that I must have a rich husband because I drive an expensive car. I paid for my car in cold hard cash with money accumulated from my own business (at which I earned six figures a year btw). Guess they were wrong...
