When expansion on the blood vessels happens which could morph into spider veins, the valves can not be able to act properly because the leaflets won't join tightly. So, the blood will circulate in the opposite direction and the blood vessels can enlarge many times more.

Can I block off my PCV valve temporary until I get it fixed and have my truck idile right? ?
It doesn't have a good seal and is sucking to much air and not vacuuming right. And my truck wont idle. I have a holley 4165 carb 600CFM v8 350 1/2 ton truck
I need to drive it like 15 miles. Would it be alright to drive. Also whats a good way to block it off?
Yes. If you can plug it well enough to stop the vacuum leak, you can drive it for a while. Pull the PCV valve out of the hose and plug it with a bolt that fits tightly into the hose, then put a small hose clamp around it.
Cars in the 60's didn't use PCV valves. They had a breather assembly to let out crankcase vapors and some also used a vent system to force the vapors out of the engine while going down the highway.
Please get it fixed, because the PCV system keeps vapors and moisture from building up in the engine, which causes sludge buildup.
